I did end up finding a hat I liked, so the site worked for what I needed. Browsing around was just a bit slower than I expected, though.

The filters were helpful in some spots, but they didn’t always behave the way I thought they would. A couple times they seemed to reset or just didn’t narrow things down much, and some pages took a while to load.
Checkout was fine overall and not too hard to figure out, but it just wasn’t the smoothest experience. I’d use the site again, but it could definitely be easier to navigate.

I ordered a hat from hatsinthebelfry.com thinking it would be an easy everyday pick, especially since I went with my usual size. It looked fine when it arrived, so I figured I’d be happy with it, but the fit was weirdly stiff and tight in a few spots after just a couple minutes.
The inside band was also scratchier than I expected, and it got irritating quickly. I wanted to like it, and maybe it works better for someone else, but comfort-wise it really didn’t match what I was hoping for.

I ordered a fedora from Hats in the Belfry because the description made it sound like a structured wool hat that would fit true to size. As someone who actually wears hats regularly and pays attention to shape and fit, I was disappointed when it arrived. It felt floppier and thinner than expected, and the color was much darker than what the photos and wording suggested.
When I reached out to customer service, they basically just pointed me back to the listing, which didn’t really help since the listing was the problem. It was frustrating, i wouldn’t order from them again unless they get a lot more accurate with their product descriptions

I had a really good experience shopping at Hats in the Belfry. They had way more styles than I expected, from easy everyday caps to dressier hats that still felt wearable. I liked that the selection made it simple to find something that actually matched my style, and the hats have that polished look without feeling over the top.

I’m giving 4 stars mainly because there were almost too many options, so it took me a while to decide, and a few colors I liked were sold out. Even so, this is definitely a place I’d feel confident recommending if you want a hat that looks good and feels like it was picked with a little personality

When this showed up, the box was completely crushed like it had been through some kind of shipping apocalypse. The hat was just stuffed into flimsy packaging, so of course it arrived bent out of shape. I was really looking forward to it, but opening that package was such a letdown. Annoyed, not gonna lie

Am I the only one who thought this hat looked really nice at first? I liked it when it arrived, but after just a few wears the stitching started coming loose. For the price, I expected it to hold up a lot better

Well... the hat showed up in the right color and size, so that part was fine. The only issue was the extra hat band, it wasn’t the one I actually picked. Not a huge deal, but definitely a little annoying.

I’ve been a loyal customer and usually have good things to say, so this was frustrating. I tried getting help with my order and the replies were really slow, and I never felt like anyone was actually trying to sort it out. I still like the brand overall, but this customer service experience definitely made me question sticking with them

I returned one hat and, shockingly, the exchange was actually quick and painless. Always nice when something that should be simple doesn’t turn into a whole project.

Just a heads up for anyone ordering this hat, the color is close to the photos, but it did look a tiny bit darker in person. It’s still a nice color and I’m happy with it, but don’t expect it to be an exact match to what you see online.

I paid way too much for this hat. It looks fine, I guess, but it’s average and definitely not worth the price. Kind of a rip-off, if you ask me.

The site said the item was in stock, so naturally I believed it and placed my order. Turns out the inventory wasn’t accurate, which was a fun little surprise. Would’ve been nice to know before wasting my time, but sure.

I ordered from Hats in the Belfry it gave me more of a real hat shop vibe than some random website. I don’t remember every little detail of the order, but I do remember the brands and styles looking like what I expected, and the hat definitely felt authentic when it showed up. Shipping was fine, maybe not the fastest thing ever, but nothing that really stuck with me. I took off one star because I wish the sizing info had been a bit clearer. Overall though, I’m happy with the hat.
